Ship/Rec Specialist - Level 2

As a Ship/Rec Specialist - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and delivery of goods within our supply chain and distribution network. You will be responsible for managing logistics operations, coordinating transportation methods, and optimizing shipping processes to guarantee timely deliveries while keeping costs in check.

You will report directly to our Logistics Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location.

In this role, you will impact the seamless flow of materials and products, meeting customer expectations, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee all aspects of logistics and distribution operations • Coordinate transportation methods and select cost-effective and efficient options • Optimize shipping and distribution processes to minimize lead times and reduce transportation costs • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries • Implement data-driven strategies to optimize logistics operations and adapt to market demands • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of distribution processes • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain a competitive edge • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and logistics partners to ensure reliable service • Provide regular reports and recommendations to management on cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

• 2+ years of proven experience in logistics and distribution management or related roles • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
