As a Customer Business Sr. Director here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and growing our customer relationship with the USAF and DLA customers for a variety of military aircraft and systems.
You will report directly to the Vice President of the Defense Americas Aftermarket team and you'll work out of a Honeywell location in proximity to the customer on a hybrid work schedule. The position will lead a team of Account Sales Managers and Program Managers. This role is responsible for developing their staff skillsets while growing a sales pipeline and executing to the AOP. You are responsible for key customer relations and overall proposal strategy and negotiations. The focus is on strategic capture of new business opportunities, executing existing business effectively and tracking the growth and execution pipeline extensively.
The Sr. Director will be an expert in assigned customer platforms, Honeywell content, Honeywell capabilities and in doing so will understand the business and competitive environment and will be able to identify and close short term and long-term growth opportunities for Honeywell. In this role, you will impact the business by developing and executing customer business plans, driving revenue growth, and maximizing customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions and ensure the success of our customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute customer business plans to drive revenue growth and maximize customer satisfaction, to include delivering on the annual operating plan and short-range outlook
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and providing innovative solutions
Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions and ensure customer success
Manage team to have accurate and current data in all required business tools, to include SFDC and Accolade
Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding market presence
At least 25% travel required
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 10 + years of experience in customer business/program management roles
5+ experience working with or for defense OEM
3+ years of experience running military defense programs
Experience in leading cross functional teams and experience managing direct reports
Strong business acumen
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well presentation skills
Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance if needed
