    Summary of Responsibilities:

The recruiting manager delivers full-cycle recruitment by attracting, identifying, evaluating, interviewing, and hiring top-level candidates, both internally and externally. This role collaborates with the hiring managers and key stakeholders within the company to ensure we attract the right talent. The recruiting manager uses both traditional and non-traditional methods for sourcing candidates, identifies recruiting statistics, and sets goals with measurements for improving recruiting efficiencies.

Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:

· Oversees the full-cycle recruitment process for multiple requisitions simultaneously

· Manage the applicant tracking system to ensure all information is updated, organized, and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations

· Record and communicate recruiting updates and metrics with various key stakeholders including hiring managers

· Effectively screen candidates to determine if the candidate’s skillsets align with the needs of the position

· Partner with the hiring manager to support business goals by proactively building and maintaining a pipeline of candidates for multiple requisitions across the organization

· Work closely with human resources leadership to understand changes in talent management, succession planning, and performance management needs that will impact recruiting requirements

· Manage sourcing and advertising for open positions

· Manage off-site recruiting events

· Manage a high volume of requisitions with a quick turnaround time

· Assess job board platforms to determine the efficacy of the platform

· Act as a mentor for associates on the recruiting team

· Promote recruiting initiatives and understand the financial impact of each recruiting product offered

· Perform other tasks as required when directed

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred

· Three to five years of direct recruiting experience is required

· One to three years of property management experience is preferred

· One to three years of human resources experience preferred

Skills and Requirements:

· Very strong organizational and time-management skills

· Ability to provide stellar candidate experience and customer service while representing the company with integrity and professionalism

· Strong working knowledge of all applicable candidate and hiring laws including EEOC, Affirmative Action, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and FLSA

· Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management effectively and sensitively

· Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

· Sensitivity to confidential matters is required

· Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency

· Capability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English

· Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system

· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others

· Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses if assigned

Scheduling:

· Required to maintain a regular schedule which may also require working outside of business hours, weekends, and non-traditional holidays

Environment

· Exposure to environment typically found in an office building
