Job Title: Receiving Coordinator

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Receiving Coordinator. The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for managing the inbound flow of goods, ensuring accurate receipt of shipments, and maintaining proper inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Receive incoming shipments from suppliers, carriers, or other sources, verifying quantities and quality of goods against purchase orders and packing slips.

Inspect received items for damages, defects, or discrepancies, and communicate any issues to the appropriate parties for resolution.

Record received items into inventory management systems, ensuring accuracy of data entry and updating stock levels accordingly.

Organize and prioritize incoming shipments for efficient storage and distribution, collaborating with warehouse staff as needed.

Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, warehouse, and production, to facilitate the timely transfer of goods and materials.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving area, including disposal of packaging materials and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Generate and maintain accurate documentation related to received shipments, including bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory reports.

Assist with periodic inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.

Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, discrepancies, and returns, fostering positive relationships and resolving issues promptly.

Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding receiving, storage, and handling of goods, as well as safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in supply chain management or related field is a plus.

Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory management preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately verify quantities and quality of received items.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to receiving and handling of goods.

SAP experience required.

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
