Job Description

We are looking for a Front-End Developer who is able to be onsite 3 days a week in north Phoenix or in Manhattan for our client.

The Front-End Developer will be expected to do hands-on programming to develop reusable, platform-agnostic frameworks, as well as work with product and business teams to design resilient, highly available, scalable distributed systems. In this role you will be designing and implementing highly scalable real-time systems following the best practices and using cutting-edge technology. This role is best suited for experienced engineers with broad skillset who are open, curious and willing to learn. As part of our client's diverse technical team, you can architect, code and ship software that makes them an essential part of their customers' digital lives. You can work alongside talented engineers in an open, supportive, inclusive environment where your voice is valued, and you make your own decisions on what technology to use to solve challenging problems. This role will also include mentoring a few junior engineers on the team.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

-6+ years of progressive software experience demonstrating strong architecture, programming, and engineering skills

-Core expertise in the JavaScript language

-2+ years of hands-on experience with React

-Experience building well-architecture RESTful APIs

-Knowledge of the micro-frontend pattern

-Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks

-Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest

-Experience working with relational databases -TypeScript is a plus null
