Philips Quality Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona
Location – Phoenix, Arizona USA
As a Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that a robust Quality System is in place to support Site Compliance to national and international regulatory requirements and/or procedures for regulated products/businesses. The processes include the inspection of receiving medical devices, evaluation of nonconforming products, evaluation of device returns from patients, customer complaint investigations, supporting the site device shipment process, and development and improvement of Quality Systems.
Your role:
Ensure that product non-conformances are managed per site work instructions. Responsible for the follow-up, approval and disposition of the NCP (Nonconformance Product), including managing the process on the Philips nonconformance quality system tool.
Support the site Operation Manager during the evaluation and approval of product Device History Record (DHR).
Monitor site warehouse environmental conditions to ensure product complies with the storage specifications.
As a CAPA owner – responsible for implementation of effective Corrective and Preventive Actions.
This role may include supervisory responsibilities for Site Level Quality Assurance Team.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or equivalent experience in the medical device industry.
3+ years of related experience.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
Working knowledge of appropriate global regulations, requirements, and standards as ISO13485, FDA 20CFR820.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Arizona is $79,800 to $136,800.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
