PCG’s Education Consulting service line seeks an Operations Project Specialist to provide various levels of support to the operations team related to the development and publication of print and digital curriculum and professional learning for our clients in the K-12 education sector. The Operations Project Specialist will perform a variety of tasks in support of the Operations team. This may include light copyediting, presentation stylization, proofreading, content loading into identified systems, process documentation, quality assurance validation, running reports, categorization of data sets, and other similar types of project support tasks as needed.
This is a remote role, with occasional in-person meetings. Some travel may be required.
Will serve various roles within the Operations team to ensure delivery of key work product across various internal and external client projects
Basic proofreading skills and an eagerness to learn light copyediting, presentation stylization, content loading into identified systems, process documentation, quality assurance validation, running reports, categorizing data sets, etc.
Ability to write and follow detailed instructions
Ability to coordinate work set forth in an Operations project plan
Contribute to and implement process improvements
Ensure operations staff have access and resources necessary to complete their work (e.g., texts, folder access, account access). Provides training as needed
Maintain a positive working relationship with all staff and clients
Complete analysis on large data sets.
Collect and enter project related data
Maintain a detail-oriented problem-solving approach to business and technical issues
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to embrace change
Be a self-starter and possess intellectual curiosity
Ability to work both in a team situation and autonomously
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular Access, PowerPoint, and Excel
Fulfill other project related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Orientations
Strong interpersonal, organizational, research, presentation, time management, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills.
Process oriented and results-driven work strategy
Solid technical, practical, and demonstrable skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Google workspaces tools
As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $60,000-$80,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below.
