As a Principal Product Manager on the OCI Developer Platform team, you will be responsible for spearheading products in our Containers, Kubernetes, Serverless and DevOps product portfolio. You will own and drive the product strategy that nails our customers' needs and innovates beyond the industry standard. You will work with a diverse set of stakeholders to take products from simple ideas all the way to market. As one of the leaders on the team, you will play a key role in shaping our product strategy & portfolio. Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Product leader with proven experience in the problem space of Containers and Kubernetes. The role requires a wide range of skills, including critical thinking, a strong sense of ownership, a drive for results, and an understanding of complex, highly technical tools and services in the Cloud.
Work directly with key customers to understand their requirements and devise creative solutions to their problems. Drive product adoption and usage.
Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap; write crisp product definitions for new products and features.
Gather, manage, and prioritize requirements and product features.
Work collaboratively with engineering on product requirements and designs, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and use problem-solving skills to get the job done.
Go-to-market activities, including product positioning, collecting customer references and stories, and evangelizing products both internally and externally.
Provide product demos, training, and assistance for customers.
Following industry trends, market research, and competitive analysis.
Driving internal or external programs to analyze gaps and increase product adoption.
Create content to help enable customer success.
Define, measure, and manage customer experience and business performance goals.
Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues that might otherwise derail projects.
Engage and influence executives and leaders independently.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in Product Management experience in the software industry, with 3+ years being a senior product leader in the problem space of Containers and Kubernetes
Proven ability to define and shape the business strategy for large product areas.
Proven track record for shipping entirely new products/services from the ground up.
Demonstrated technical domain knowledge in System Design of public cloud technologies and/or distributed systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in a technical discipline/MBA
Experience working on a public cloud service and in-depth knowledge of IaaS/PaaS industry and competitive capabilities.
Understanding of key related technologies, such as microservice-based architectures, distributed systems, Cloud services, Kubernetes, Docker, Functions, CI/CD technologies and Terraform. Knowledge of open-source projects.
Ability to build, drive, and promote cross-team processes and achieve org-wide impact.
Strong customer focus. Able to engage, communicate, and manage customer CxO relationships.

US: Hiring Range: from $114,500 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
