Robert Half is actively seeking diligent and meticulously organized Mortgage Processors to collaborate with our esteemed client, a leading national banking corporation, based in Pheonix area. This engagement presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a successful financial organization while developing a broader, in-depth understanding of the mortgage processing sector.

Engagement Duration: 1 year contract

Job Location: Fully on-site - Phoenix, AZ 85085

Working Hours: Standard operating hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Core Responsibilities:

The Mortgage Processor will play a crucial role in safeguarding the department's meticulous routines by gathering, analyzing, and ensuring the accuracy of vital documents. You will guarantee that all paperwork is appropriately filled out, correct, and comprehensive, lending to the overall smooth advancement of the mortgage process.

The scope of documents would include but is not limited to:

• Asset Statements

• Credit Reports

• Evidence of Income

• Home Loan Applications

• Insurance Documents

• Flood Certificates

• Termite reports

• Title Commitments

  Requirements

We are seeking candidates with robust prior experience in mortgage processing. You will need an in-depth understanding of income, assets, and credit verification rules, the experience with initial loan approval review guidelines, and the capacity to assess mortgage loan files effectively.

• You should be comfortable working with loan approval tools and systems, such as the Loan Origination System (LOS), Desktop Underwriter (DU), mortgage calculators, and underwriting guidelines.

• A proven ability to perform under a fast-paced environment, excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
