Honeywell is launching the development of a new family of gas turbine engines that will help shape the future of the aerospace industry. Honeywell is hiring engineers in the areas of design, analysis, controls, test, and project management to accomplish this challenging new feat. We are looking to hire individuals who thrive on thinking big, have an appetite for growth, and a passion for winning.

Honeywell has an opening for an Engineer I in the Mechanical Systems Engineering group responsible for the design and analysis of bearings, gears and splines, seals, and lubrication systems for propulsion engines, auxiliary power units, and engine gearboxes. The scope of this position includes using state-of-the-art software tools and methods and supporting Technical Excellence Teams to capture and publish analysis practices and guidelines. The position may involve test rig design, operation, and data collection and analysis. Analytical results may be presented in design reviews and will be recorded in appropriate documentation to meet program deliverables and requirements. Applicant must work effectively with design teams, global support, and chief engineers.

The salary range for this position is ($65,000 - $95,000). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
