As the Indirect Procurement Manager, you will manage various sourcing and market engagement projects related to indirect goods and services. You will focuse on cost reduction, supplier optimization, and the management of key vendor relationships, ensuring efficient procurement of services, office supplies, technology, travel, and other indirect spend categories.

What You'll Do

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimization by evaluating company spend on services, office supplies, technology, travel, and other indirect categories.

  • Develop and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to secure competitive bids for indirect goods and services.

  • Implement cost savings and risk avoidance strategies to enhance procurement processes and reduce expenditures.

  • Lead strategic sourcing projects, negotiating supplier agreements and contracts to achieve the best value for the company.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure quality service and effective communication.

  • Review and analyze vendor proposals for a range of services and supplies to ensure compliance with company standards.

  • Coordinate vendor selection with a team, conducting formal business reviews and performance evaluations.

  • Travel as needed to various office locations nationwide to support procurement activities and vendor relationships.

  • Other duties as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline

  • 5+ years’ experience in a direct supply chain, sourcing and/or procurement role

  • 2+ years’ experience establishing and growing supply chain vendor relationships

  • Willingness to collaborate across different functions

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment

  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice

  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing

  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Legal Stuff
