Learn more at HonorHealth.com. Responsibilities Job Summary Provides leadership for all shifts within the Supply Chain Operations Department. Supervises the personnel assigned to the section. Plans, establishes, and revises work assignments. Interviews, selects and hires personnel. Initiates changes in classification, salary action, promotion, demotion, transfer and termination. May settle employee problems and administer appropriate disciplinary action. Works with Director of Supply Chain Operations to develop departmental budget, and responsible for meeting or exceeding budget performance throughout the fiscal year. Develops and maintains positive relationships with all departments to ensure business needs are met. Ensures that equipment and supplies are maintained adequately. Ensures that customer service standards and quality standards are met for patients, staff and public. Supervises and oversees the daily operations (supply, equipment distribution, shipping and receiving) of the Supply Chain Operations department to ensure that the customers’ needs are met in an efficient and timely manner. Monitors and maintains appropriate inventory computer file and physical balances by reviewing issues and receipts through use of computer transactions and in appropriate pre-determined audit trails. Works with Directors in various Departments to meet their needs related to par location management and general supply/equipment requests. Trains new staff, updates existing staff training on an ongoing basis. Orients staff to work area. Evaluates task competencies and service skills. Reports performance strengths/concerns/variances to the Director of Supply Chain Operations. Initiate Coaching Plan when needed. Coordinates with the Supply Chain Operations, to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained to meet work load, customer demands. Communicates potential staffing issues to minimize impact on daily operations. Resolves problems and service disruptions with high standard of customer service and satisfaction. Follows up on complaints to ensure effectiveness of corrective actions. Assures compliance with standards for Healthcare and Workplace Regulatory Agencies. Monitors the use of medical and non-medical equipment to allocate adequate par level and reduce or eliminate rental spend. Works with Biomedical Engineering to ensure a complete capture of equipment scheduled for preventative maintenance and ensures that broken/damaged equipment is decommissioned and processed for repairs. Ensures the accuracy of productivity reports and resolves staff conflicts/ productivity issues. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED Required Experience 2 years in supply chain operations, including logistics, distribution, warehousing, inventory control or shipping and receiving. Required Licenses and Certifications Driver License Required
