Summary

Exchange Engineer / Analyst III | Enterprise Productivity

Are you a skilled IT professional with a passion for Exchange and messaging systems? We are looking for an experienced Exchange/Messaging IT Solutions Engineer/Analyst III to manage and secure our critical hybrid Exchange/Messaging environment, which includes both on-premises and cloud-based systems.

What your day would be like:

You are responsible for:

  • Exchange/Messaging Management: Oversee the administration of our hybrid Exchange environment, ensuring seamless integration and performance across on-premises and cloud-based systems.

  • Email Security: Implement and manage domain protection strategies, including DMARC, DKIM, and SPF, to enhance email security.

  • eDiscovery and Compliance: Utilize eDiscovery tools for legal compliance and manage quarantined messages to ensure email hygiene.

  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Apply advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve complex messaging infrastructure issues and ensure the reliability of our systems.

  • Next-Generation Technology: Drive the delivery and performance of software and hardware products, from design completion to volume production release, and manage the lifecycle of these products.

  • Proficient with Exchange Server and experienced in managing hybrid environments.

  • Strong understanding of messaging infrastructure and security protocols.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve software and system problems.

  • Experience with domain protection strategies and email security practices.

    *Employees in Flex roles are required to reside in Arizona (or NM for Four Corners-based employees). Role types are subject to change based on business need.

Minimum Requirements

Exchange Engineer / Analyst III | Enterprise Productivity

  • Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field

  • AND five (5) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.

  • Requires strong technical knowledge within a job area or system and basic knowledge across related technical areas

    Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications

  • Knowledge of multiple programming languages, database management systems and development platforms

  • Skills in understanding and explaining highly technical issues and solutions in non-technical terms; working effectively in teams and across organizations

  • Balancing and prioritizing between multiple work streams; collaborating with colleagues and teams in different fields across a diverse organization; solving advanced complex problems in own area of work

Major Accountabilities

1) Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products and/or in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms

2) Analyzes and assists with creating reusable and enterprise-level modules/applications

3) Conducts performance reviews and recommends improvements to existing codes

4) Reviews and recommends equipment, resources and software

5) Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.

6) Trains users in conversion and implementation of system

7) Conduct integration system testing and evaluations

8) Leads the design, development and implementation of new solutions

Flex Role:

This position is not required to be performed at a specific APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to perform their work, but the ultimate decision is the company's. Employees will have two options to choose from:

  • APS office based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from an APS facility.

  • Home based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from his/her home.
