THE POSITION:
The IT Administrator oversees the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring efficient operations and user satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing IT assets, deploying systems, providing user support, and troubleshooting issues. The role also involves handling user accounts, monitoring IT requests, and ensuring timely setup and distribution of IT devices. Candidates need experience in IT support, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with key software and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Track and maintain IT inventory to ensure all assets are accounted for and in working condition.
Deploy IT systems and provide hands-on training and support to users, tailoring assistance to varying skill levels.
Manage user accounts and access permissions, ensuring secure and appropriate access to systems.
Actively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high uptime and user satisfaction.
Regularly monitor the IT ticketing system to address and resolve stale or unresolved tickets efficiently.
Facilitate communication with users about the status of their IT incidents or requests, ensuring transparency and satisfaction.
Handle user setups, including onboarding and separation processes, to ensure smooth transitions.
Monitor shipping and delivery timelines for IT devices to ensure timely distribution and setup.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in a Managed Service Provider environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a capability to address technical issues proactively.
Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
Attention to detail, with a results-driven mindset and initiative-taking capabilities.
Solid technical foundation in IT fundamentals, including networking, system administration, and security.
Proficiency with key software and systems such as Windows, Mac, Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, and experience with IT ticketing systems.
Knowledge of industry-specific tools like SharePoint, Bluebeam, and Procore is preferred.
