Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona

Description We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst in the Chemicals Manufacturing industry, based in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves providing first-line support for internal customers, ensuring user-friendly ICT support. The role also requires continuous system analysis and maintenance tasks to keep the system at peak performance.

Responsibilities:

• Install software to facilitate user-friendly ICT support for internal customers.

• Provide first-line support for incidents and requests to ensure users are operational swiftly and prevent recurring issues.

• Continually analyze the system and recommend improvements to enhance overall system performance.

• Create, store, and share technical documents in accordance with knowledge management standards.

• Assist with training regarding user guidelines for specific desktop products, software programs, or systems to empower end-users and avoid recurrent issues.

• Execute administrative and maintenance tasks including preventative maintenance on client systems, hardware repair, and inventory maintenance.

• Maintain up-to-date ticketing records using the Ticketing System and manage Service Desk Tickets effectively.

• Stay updated on evolutions within the specific field to offer a service based on the latest knowledge and share this expertise within the ICT department.

• Train internal customers on technical solutions for business processes.

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with other team members, being available for emergency service when possible. Requirements • Experience in the Chemical Manufacturing industry is necessary

• Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst or similar role

• Familiarity with Ticketing System and Service Desk Tickets

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure

• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide step-by-step technical help

• Proficient in English language, both written and spoken

• Ability to work in a team and build relationships with co-workers

• Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

• Ability to learn new technologies quickly

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
