job summary:

As a sit down forklift operator, you will unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and load them onto assigned locations. You will also locate and move products on pallets or create pallets for storage or shipment Daily tasks also include Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies. - Inspect your assigned material handling equipment and/or work area for safety issues. - Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner. - Identify the correct pick location and pick in accordance to the system. - Pick the correct item and quantity, checking UPCs or item descriptions. - Assure that products being selected are not damaged and are picked correctly. - Verify product is correct and packaged for shipping to ensure the highest level of quality. - Use shipping system to generate shipping labels for each package. - Assist other fellow associates when in need. - Assist in cleaning when all selection is complete. - Other Duties as assigned - All positions are crossed trained for assembly, shipping, picking, packing

work hours: 7:00AM to 3:30PM

qualifications:

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
