RTX Corporation has a great opportunity for a candidate to fulfill a role within the Enterprise Services (ES) Finance organization. ES spans multiple financial areas and candidates will have an opportunity to be considered for various roles within our Orders to Cash (OTC) group.

The OTC department seeks to maximize cash performance from point of contract award through final invoicing for RTX's main business units. As a government contractor, you will be utilizing SAP software and adhering to government accounting standards to recognize, and record awarded contracts. Financial Analysts are responsible for following the awarded contract from set up to close. You could be involved with setting up contracts in SAP, invoicing customers, analyzing, and reducing working capital balances, the collection of outstanding receivables, or posting cash to the general ledger.

The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

What You Will Do

• Reconciling payment receipts against outstanding invoices for cash application

• Reconcile bank statements to general ledger.

• Maintain regular contact with Financial Planning &Analysis for cash forecasting and updates.

• Follow-up with external customer payment offices for status and payment resolutions.

  Qualifications You Must Have

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

• This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel including formulas and functions.

• 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Point.

• Candidates must be located in and willing to work in a hybrid capacity from an RTX hub in Farmington, CT, Cedar Rapids, IA, Richardson, TX, or Tucson, AZ. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

  Qualifications We Prefer

• 3.0 GPA and above.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, ability to work well in teams.

• Experience meeting deadlines and working in a schedule driven environment.

• Ability to support multiple time zones.

• Experience in a financial setting working with numbers, large data sets, and computations.

• Relevant internship or co-op experience.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and look up functions.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
