In the role as a HYBRID Field Application Engineer based in Phoenix, AZ - you will be responsible for providing related technical applications support for the development and implementation of the company's products in customer site with sufficient technical and communication skills. This level of Engineer possesses deep understanding of best practices and works continuously to adapt them.

Requirements include:

· Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics, or a related field.

· Demonstrated expertise in providing guidance and support for system installation, testing, calibration, and recipe optimizations.

· Experience in photomask inspection, semiconductor equipment applications engineering, or similar roles.

· Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel for 2-3 months for product training.

Essential Job Functions:

· Receives service calls from customer. Determines customer need or problem and responds accordingly.

· May provide over-the-phone consultation and advice to customer, may need to respond to emergency customer situation or may schedule and repair Company's products at customer site.

· Performs preventative maintenance on Company products.

· Establishes and manages a local maintenance service structure.

· Inspects and evaluates customer usage of Company products.

· Provides training to customers in usage and maintenance of Company products.

· Supports sales activities and establishes and maintains good relationship with customers.

· Participates in sales meetings as required.

· Submits various reports such as service reports, weekly report, and expense report to management in a timely manner.

· Receives follow-up and additional training on Company products in Japan.

· Minimizes downtime of company's systems.

· Effectively communicates with Japan headquarters' engineers regarding the product applications, technical issues, etc.

· Often travels to help other areas for providing application and field service engineering activities to Company customers.

· Participates in customer meetings with the sales team to lead technical discussions

Estimated salary range is between $80K to $120K per/year.
