Nestle Expert Network Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

POSITION SUMMARY

As an Expert Network Engineer, you will act as the subject matter expert to sustain, deployment, retirement of the SDWAN infrastructure between Nestle Companies in North America. You’ll also be responsible for the effective and efficient operational support of the aligned products. You’ll also be providing dedicated support for all locations within North America and address any customization for our business for any connectivity. You’ll be responsible for operational service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity and agility goals are achieved. Work closely with ITP network teams, manufacturing teams, factory floor IT teams, and other business IT teams to provide support, global teams, stakeholders within NUSA or NPPC management related to market topics. 

This is a Hybrid position with 3 days in office and requires up to 25% traveling across our factories within North America. 

  • Ensures the delivery of efficient and secure IT operations, supports IT systems that fulfill the needs of the business, and provides input to the development team and tech lead as well as to peers responsible for other aspects of operations.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for connectivity for business locations in Nestle North America.

  • Oversees the support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management.

  • Ensures IT strategic service partners provide the required level of service, system performance and functionality required to meet business commitments.

  • Supports the implementation and management of quality and efficiency improvements of IT service delivery, to drive value and support.

  • Supports market & project testing; supports specification, configuration & sustain activities and utilizes 3rd party services as directed.

  • Runs small-scale projects (managed work activities) for the deployment of functionalities.

  • Works with supplier teams to ensure good coordination of product changes without impacting IT Consumers and business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 7+ years of enterprise level experience supporting, deploying and executing preventive maintenance in a mission-critical SDWAN, and / or LAN & Wireless environments.

  • 5+ years of Network Design and project deployment experience

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience supporting and maintaining Cisco hardware/software, switching and routing in datacenters, manufacturing and branch locations.

  • 1+ years of experience with Orion or similar NPMD Network Monitoring Tools, Cisco DNA

  • 1+ years of experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams

  • 1+ years of understanding of OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP to perform and analyze packet captures. 

Other

  • Cisco Certification (CCNP or CCIE) preferred

  • 1+ years of experience network scripting using Python and other automation tools preferred

  • 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow, DevOps, and Power BI Apps.

The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000 to $153,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
