Insight Global Data Services - Cloud Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description

Looking for a bright, enthusiastic Cloud Engineer to be part of a lean team responsible for the maintenance and optimization of our AWS Data Lake infrastructure, including AWS Redshift, DMS, Glue, Storage Gateway, Transfer Family, Lambda, and S3.

  • Manage and maintain AWS Redshift clusters for optimal performance and scalability.

  • Implement and monitor AWS DMS for data migration and replication.

  • Develop and optimize ETL workflows using AWS Glue.

  • Administer Storage Gateway for data transfer between environments.

  • Utilize AWS Transfer Family for secure file transfer protocols.

  • Design and implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda.

  • Oversee the organization and storage of data within AWS S3 buckets.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

Skills and Requirements

· 3-5 years developing in Python

· 3-5 year/s experience maintaining Redshift, DMS, S3

· 3-5 year/s of experience writing Infrastructure as Code (IAC)

· Proven experience working with AWS Redshift, DMS, Glue, Lambda, and S3.

· Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Boto3) for automation tasks.

· Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for Infrastructure as Code.

· In-depth knowledge of data lake architecture and best practices.

· Experience optimizing and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks in AWS environments.

· Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards in AWS.

· Experience with other AWS services and technologies. · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· AWS certifications in relevant areas (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Analytics).

· Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

· Hospitality Industry experience a plus null
