Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with all state regulations and safety standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including but not limited to commercial refrigerators, ice machines, air conditioners, and heating units.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for long-term system reliability.

• Ensure all installations and repairs meet the required specifications and safety standards.

• Provide technical support and advice to clients, offering solutions that meet their operational needs.

• Stay current with evolving technology and techniques in the HVAC and refrigeration field.

• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of all service work, installations, and inspections.

• Participate in training and certification programs to enhance job performance and adhere to industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona HVAC and Refrigeration Contractor’s License, or the ability to obtain one before employment begins.

• EPA Section 608 Certification for handling refrigerants.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

• Strong understanding of Arizona’s building codes and compliance requirements related to HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Proficiency in using HVAC and refrigeration tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in HVAC and refrigeration is a plus.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.

• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing as part of the pre-employment process.
