The College of Arts and Media offers exciting opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at our Phoenix campus .

  GCU Traditional Campus located in Phoenix, AZ :

• Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2024 semester (09/03/2024 - 12/15/2024)

  Course:

  ADV-250: Advanced Design Fundamentals

  This course builds on design fundamentals by increasing students’ understanding of content development and production methods within the advertising design process. Students will create and produce advertising campaigns and products of various scope and size.

  What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies

• Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends

• Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path

• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

  What You Will Bring:

• Minimum: Bachelors in Advertising or Bachelors in Graphic Design or Bachelors in Visual Communication or related area.

• AND 3-5 years experience in the industry

• AND Experience with advertising strategy development

• AND Knowledge of current design & production software or design principles and production methods including motion graphics

• Portfolio will be requested for review of application documents
