Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona. This role will be performed in a hybrid setting, with the flexibility to work remotely and needing to be onsite only on Wednesdays. The job function revolves around managing the Accounts Payable process and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Accounts Payable process, focusing on processing payments in batches

• Utilize accounting software systems, such as Great Plains and Concur, to perform day-to-day responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and detail in processing and managing invoices, including submitting invoices into Concur

• Monitor and resolve any issues with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations regularly and accurately

• Pay attention to dates and posting payments, ensuring all transactions are processed on time

• Ensure all account coding is accurate and up-to-date

• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient management of accounting functions

• Perform auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance in all transactions

• Contribute to the growth and efficiency of the company by understanding the AP process and striving for continuous improvement. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for this role.

• Must have extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Candidates should have a working knowledge of Concur.

• A good understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is expected.

• Ability to handle multiple Accounting Functions is essential.

• Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is important.

• Experience with Auditing is required.

• Should be familiar with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software is necessary.
