As a member of one of the world’s largest Workday-certified teams, you’ll be part of a team of advisory professionals who deliver more than just technology. From rapid deployments to entire transformations, you’ll deliver integrated, payroll, cloud-based HR and financial management solutions that put organizations on the fast track to a better way to work.

As a Workday Strategic Sourcing Consultant, your primary responsibilities may include:

  • Identification of business requirements related to procurement processes, including spend analysis, supplier management, and contract management.

  • Functional and process design for P2P/S2P activities, incorporating strategic sourcing best practices to optimize cost savings and supplier relationships.

  • Scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, and testing of Workday configurations to streamline procurement workflows and enable strategic sourcing initiatives.

  • Leading workshops to educate clients on Workday's functionalities for P2P/S2P and strategic sourcing.

  • Conducting working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements specific to procurement and sourcing.

  • Supporting the Financials Lead in architecting Workday P2P/S2P solutions that integrate seamlessly with strategic sourcing strategies.

  • Advising clients on industry standards and leading practices in procurement and strategic sourcing, including cost reduction techniques, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.

  • Demonstrating design options through prototypes that showcase how Workday can improve efficiency and effectiveness in procurement activities.

  • Understanding and applying Workday and Accenture methodologies to ensure successful implementation of P2P/S2P functionalities and strategic sourcing best practices.

    Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

    Here’s what you need:

  • Workday Financials Partner Certification

  • Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience, with a focus on procurement or strategic sourcing.

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Workday Financials experience, demonstrating expertise in P2P/S2P functionalities.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in US and/or Global Financials Operations, including procurement processes.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associates Degree, must have minimum 6 years of work experience)

    Bonus points if:

  • WSS Certification

  • Project experience with Workday’s strategic sourcing

  • Proficiency in multiple business processes: PTP, SCM, OTC, GL, FA, Budgeting, Cash Management, etc., with a strong understanding of how they connect to procurement activities.

  • Experience leading global and/or LE Workday engagements.

  • Experience applying strategic sourcing practices within Workday implementations.

  • Thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

  • Other leading Cloud-based SaaS financial application implementation experience (Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, Lawson, etc.)

  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization (Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, etc.)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.
