DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB DESCRIPTION VP, Head of Treasury Operations, Americas

DESCRIPTION: The VP, Head of Treasury Operations, Americas will report into Chubb's Global Head of Treasury Operations and locally into Chubb's SVP of Corporate Finance & North America Treasury.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the management and oversight of the daily North American (US, Bermuda, Canada) Treasury Operations activities, comprising of all Payment, Cash Management and Bank Administration activities. Within Latin America, the role will partner with local resources in region and provide strategic direction on group wide initiatives (such as the roll-out of treasury systems).

In addition, the role will drive the delivery into the Americas of key Global Treasury strategic objectives and key projects with a particular focus on the continued implementation of the Treasury Transformation Project (TTP). This will include the continued deployment of our preferred Payment factory "Trax" and our Treasury Management System "Quantum" for all identified business units and locations.

This role will also coordinate on other Global Finance Projects involving the implementation of systems/processes supporting cash receipts and cash payments.

In terms of people management, the hire will manage a team of seven in Philadelphia as well as Chubb's India based offshore center.

The role will align with Chubb's 3/2 hybrid in-office policy.

SCOPE: Chubb is an increasingly global organization. The incumbent should be comfortable with Treasury Operations across the Americas region and have global experience matching Chubb's footprint.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Oversee Daily, Weekly and Monthly Treasury Operations activities that span Canada, Bermuda and the U.S. Coordination with Latin America, UK/Europe/Asia-Pacific * Manage and oversee a dual location operations department (Philadelphia/Noida, India), ensuring the Offshore team provides the required payment, cash management and bank administration services in line with agreed SLA's * Provide strategic input on NA Treasury transformational initiatives and direct the implementation of all resulting system & operational activities. * Coordinate with senior leaders on other Global Finance Projects (e.g., claims payment systems, etc.) * Influence internal business partners to allow us to deliver payment/collection solutions in line with our Treasury infrastructure and strategy * Provide input/reports to senior leaders in the Global Treasury and Finance Departments on: * Transformational activities - systems/operations/staffing * Treasury actions supporting strategic business initiatives (e.g., digital, etc.) * Other ad hoc reports * Provide critical input and maintain newly implemented SOX/ERM controls/processes across the region. * Coordinate on ad hoc responsibilities/initiatives with other department (e.g., Tax, CAM, AP, Billing & Collections, etc.) * Act as escalation point for the department as and when required

QUALIFICATIONS QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of treasury related experience CTP accreditation preferred Proficiency in implementing Treasury systems - TRAX and Quantum experience would be advantageous Proficiency in implementing new Payment/Collection processes.  Previous team management experience required -- managing a dual location team preferred Strong Payment and Cash Management experience within the North American Landscape  Proven leadership experience in a business setting  Ability to work with and support senior leadership when required Exceptional project and program management skills Strong knowledge and use of Treasury management and payment systems Knowledge of North American Payment and Collection rocesses and ability to act as SME on the matter with senior leadership Mastery of end user applications (e.g., Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization, particularly with colleagues in remote locations Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines

The pay range for the role is $146,500 to $240,500. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
