Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt

We are looking for a highly motivated, scientifically inquisitive and dedicated individual to support a translational cancer genomics laboratory as a research technician studying breast and prostate cancer. The laboratory is using patient samples and cell lines to study the role of inherited DNA repair genes in breast and prostate tumor formation and response to therapy. The temporary position will perform basic cell culture techniques to grow and characterize patient derived and immortalized cell lines. In this position the part-time employye will continue to manage all aspects of the Maxwell lab’s cell culture experiments which are critical to her K08 funded studies.
