DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Role description: Arcadis is seeking a Senior Managing Consultant with a focus on Net Zero to join our Technical Advisory Team in North America. The core responsibilities will largely relate to managing portfolio decarbonization efforts for commercial real estate portfolios, campuses, and municipalities. The role will aid owners and investors of built asset portfolios to understand current greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprint, identify pathways towards achieving net-zero or near net-zero sustainability targets and implement measures as they develop and maintain a portfolio of built assets that is profitable and sustainable.
The successful candidate will be in a client-facing project management role to deliver innovative capital improvements projects in support of Net-Zero strategy implementation and will work closely with our Places Net-Zero / Sustainable Communities Solutions Leaders to develop project scopes and workflows that leverage and differentiate Arcadis's integrative teaming and approach.
Role accountabilities: * The position includes a high level of responsibility and accountability for the execution and delivery of net-zero programs and projects within a developing specialist team. * Exercise technical expertise in areas which include program management, project management, identification of net-zero pathways for sustainable buildings and/or communities, implementation of greenhouse gas reduction measures across a client portfolio of built assets. * Ongoing implementation of high technical standards across the organization for excellence in service delivery. Standards are to align with global practices and industry best practices. * Outside-the-box mindset towards creating innovative solutions that will lead to the decarbonization of asset portfolios, communities, and individual buildings across the United States. * Coordinate office and field activities associated with clean energy projects including energy audits, design & engineering, program management, cost controls, scheduling, etc. * Serve as single point of client contact (commission manager) for key accounts, programs, and individual projects to anticipate client expectations and deliver solutions that meet those expectations in a manner that is timely, profitable, and in accordance with Arcadis General Business Principles
Qualifications & Experience: * A Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Energy Auditing or related technical degree is required. * 5+ years' experience implementing net-zero solutions or related field. * LEED credential, CEM, CEA, or other sustainability-related accreditation, certification or training.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $135,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experienc , education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
