Clarivate Analytics (US) LLC Senior Data Scientist- Real World Data in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: JREQ128093 Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated real world evidence (RWE) Lead of Data Science who has experience in generating insights/evidence from claims and EHR real world data (RWD) to join our growing Toronto-based RWE analytics team at Clarivate.

Working closely with the Senior Director, you will lead the team to support and collaborate with our North America, India, and Europe RWD/E analytics and consulting teams to deliver Clarivate's industry-leading RWD/E analytics services. The ideal candidate has an ability to see solutions in real world data, commercial and clinical datasets, and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities and action for our customers.

This resource will work closely with leaders across Delivery, Products, Consulting, Solutions and Sales and deliver value to our customers, and join a highly talented and fast paced team.

Experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, economics, mathematics, data science, or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in pharma, medtech, biotech or healthcare industry, drawing insights from data. Additional education or PhD in lieu of experience. Comfortable with advising and guiding staff on RWE generation methods, observational study design, and statistical methods Understanding of and experience using advanced analytical concepts, statistical modeling techniques, predictive and prescriptive analytics Well versed in SQL and Python. R is a plus Comfortable with code management best practices (e.g. git workflow)

It would be great if you also have... Demonstrated experience in leading teams to successfully deliver RWD/E projects to pharma, medtech, biotech, or healthcare industries. Have an innovative mindset, and have ideas about leveraging advanced methods (AI/ML) to solve RWD/E problems. Proficient at partnering with multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization. Well versed in SQL and Python. R is a plus

What Will You be Doing in this Role? You will manage and grow a team of talented data scientists, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and data analysts to deliver RWE and advanced analytics projects to our U.S, EU and APAC pharma, MedTech, biotech and healthcare clients. Help guide development of analytics accelerators and deployment platforms to speed up and scale analytics services. Work with the Sr. Director and other leads to provide "white-glove" analytics consulting services, defining client needs and ensure client satisfaction through on-time delivery of high-quality services. Identify appropriate data and methodologies to answer client questions and interpreting results. Plan, organize and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of client's project goals and objectives. Contribute to and guide junior data scientists and analysts in the development of machine learning and other advanced analytics solutions for improving RWD-based analytics and evidence/insight generation Be the trusted advisor, guide, and coach to help your team navigate challenging RWD/E analytics problems and client challenges

The Real World Evidence & Analytics team is a small growing team of experienced professionals who service pharmaceutical clients with their data needs through modelling, statistics and study design. As part of Life Sciences & Healthcare within Clarivate, we are advanced in providing real world data and big data solutions to customers who depend on our products and consulting services.

Hours of Work Regular business hours with some flexibility to attend global meetings virtually This position will be performed hybrid near our site in Toronto
