See Yourself as a Program Specialist The Program Specialist is responsible for execution of various program processes in the business continuity, resilience risk, and response/recovery areas of Radian's Safety, Security, and Resilience (SSR) team. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with responsibilities across many related specialty areas, requiring quick adaptation to changing priorities. This role has a strong focus in risk assessment, cross-team collaboration, and provision of operational support to various processes which lead to the stabilization of the overall SSR team. This role is a 24/7 on-call role working with experienced Business Continuity (BC), Disaster Recovery (DR), Crisis Management, Physical Security (PS), Risk and Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Response professionals. There are no direct reports; however, a number of outsourced contracts and outsourced staff may be managed, as required. This role requires travel from 10 to 25%.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute appropriate decision making on external risk monitoring and analysis and escalation, leveraging technologies and digital platforms and intelligence streams.

Support response efforts as assigned.

Coordinate and manage tracking and analysis of risk assessments across critical third party providers in support and implementation of an evolving risk management process for critical supply chain; assist in scaling and maturing of the risk program, as well as leading daily operations.

Identify potential risks in critical third party providers and assess their potential impact on the organization.

Support development of strategies and plans to mitigate identified risks and ensure the resilience of the organization.

Collaborate with business areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies to address potential risks.

Proactively identify areas for improvement in the critical third-party assessment process and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Serve as key coordination and support to managers of business continuity, resilience risk, organizational governance, incident management, and physical security.

Track, review, execute on, and report the implementation of assigned resilience processes.

Serve as a technical expert supporting data collection, information analysis, and meaningful electronic reporting of data and findings.

Execute testing of response equipment and system components; document site and equipment drills.

Serve as a subject matter expert for resilience in tracking and responding to customer due diligence inquiries.

Utilize well-developed writing skills to lead updating of written safety and resilience program materials as assigned.

Support internal and external audit and evidence/documentation provision.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience: Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Work Experience: 3 or more years of prior experience, related fields (business continuity, disaster recovery, risk ma agement, emergency management, etc.)

Additional Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3 years prior experience in related fields required.

Strong familiarity and experience in field/s of operational resilience, business continuity, risk, emergency/incident management, and/or IT disaster recovery is required.

Supply chain management, vendor risk management, third-party assessment experience is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of basic life-safety and security protocols is preferred.

Familiarity with SOC2, SOX, audit, and/or due diligence/industry standards in the financial, insurance, or fin-tech industries preferred.

Strong intermediate Excel and other Microsoft suite skills required; Advanced or Mastery Microsoft Excel, Access, Forms, etc. skills strongly preferred for data analysis and reporting delivery with minimal training.

Knowledge of innovative technologies, ethical AI, automation, project management, process improvement preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and reporting skills required.

Strong ability to multitask, collaborate and work virtually, and maintain a positive and helpful attitude is required.

Preferred Education Level: Master's in related field preferred Preferred Years of Prior Work-Related Experience: 5+ years corporate work experience preferred

Other Qualifications, including any special skills, capabilities, and competencies: ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, ARMP, CRMP, CEM, ORCP, ORCS, ORCE, Six Sigma, or equivalent preferred

Competitive Compensation:anticipated base salary from $62,000 to $90,000based on skills and experience. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
