Job Description Summary
The Research Coordinator Senior (RCS) will support an active epidemiological research lab specializing in reproductive and perinatal epidemiology. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of several research projects, overseeing existing activities and supporting the implementation of new projects. They will ensure timelines for data collection are met and manage data using various tools, systems, and statistical software packages.
Responsibilities include submitting protocol modifications and continuing reviews to the IRB as needed. The RCS will assist with writing new grants, which may involve conducting literature reviews and drafting sections of the grants. Additionally, help write reports for funded grants and assist with preparing manuscripts for publication, including the production of tables and figures.

Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Contribute to the data analyses, interpretation of the analytic results of epidemiological studies, and assist with the preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
Draft and submit forms for data access; develop and support a study database for projects; maintain log and tracking mechanisms. Provides preliminary data analysis and report preparation.
Partner with Faculty members to facilitate the implementation of their research projects: Conduct literature reviews; draft reports, memos, abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, and proposals by creating data tables and visualizations, developing graphics, drafting, copy editing, and formatting.
Coordinate project meetings and events, including scheduling, creating agendas, tracking attendance, communicating with attendees, preparing meeting materials, and taking meeting minutes.
Organize, participate in, and develop project documentation, including project plans, study protocols, standard operating procedures, and IRB and other regulatory documents needed to initiate and guide implementation.
Assist faculty members with grant submissions: Conduct literature reviews; tables and figures, developing graphics, drafting, copy editing, and formatting.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of research studies experience, project management, administrative support, or other relevant fields is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A background in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
Excellent organizing abilities with a strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Good quantitative skills.
Proven ability to thrive under occasional time pressure and workload.
Strong competence in MS Office and Google Suite.
High standard of professionalism, excellence, and accountability.
Proven ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
