Job Summary

Responsible for managing, developing, executing, and monitoring pricing strategies to achieve business plan objectives for all segments of our Ambius business.  This position will also be responsible for reviewing contract terms related to pricing; including the use of client portals, payment terms, etc. This position will manage pricing optimization projects to ensure we meet/exceed our current and future financial commitments while ensuring profitability and success related to pricing. This position is critical to the success of the Ambius team by managing projects with moderate scope and complexity, such as identifying growth opportunities related to pricing, root cause analysis to determine trend anomalies, reporting, data and financial analyses, price change requests, and other pricing activities. This person will need excellent communication and collaboration as they will commonly work with cross-functional teams to learn the business, goals, and plans then produce recommendations and strategies to improve pricing, retention, win rate, and other success KPIs. On a regular cadence, this position will summarize and present the results of their initiatives to Ambius leadership. Key Performance Indicators

Close Rate Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Manage, develop, execute, and monitor pricing strategies to achieve business plan objectives while optimizing Regional and National Account pricing.

Develop unique strategies for new customer acquisition and renewal customers.

Support the development of tools, reports and dashboards to effectively execute and track pricing strategies.

Collaborate with cross functional teams (i.e., Product, Sales, Technical, Service) to learn the business, goals, and plans then produce recommendations and strategies to improve pricing.

Partner with Finance to develop and implement a governance process.

Develops recommendations and necessary analysis/reports to facilitate leadership decisions regarding new pricing strategies to enhance profitability and grow market share.

Ensure we meet/exceed financial commitments, and ensure profitability and success related to Regional and National Account pricing.

Work with the sales team and legal to manage contract terms related to pricing; including portal usage, payment terms, etc.

Generates recommendations on pricing updates based upon competitive intelligence, product differentiation and internal analysis.

Assist with developing and executing pricing optimization strategies.

Support Product Managers in implementation of new product catalog, including harmonized pricing.

Provides research assistance to Product Managers on historical pricing, insights on specific products or customer groups.

Responsible for delivering updates and monitoring performance vs plan.

Supports Sales and Product teams with ad hoc product and financial analysis to support product strategy and roadmap development, new product introductions, and ongoing life-cycle management

Lead meetings and workshops to assess current state of business, identify problems, and create solutions.

CANDIDATE SUMMARY

Required Experience *Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field, required. *3-5 years of experience in pricing, business or financial analysis. *Ability to lead meetings/conversations and have excellent project management skills. *Experience creating and managing strategic pricing project plans. *Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities. *Demonstrated success analyzing large amounts of data and providing recommendations. *Strong written and verbal communication skills. *A tech-savvy nature with a strong comprehension. *Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google skills required. *Ability to create data tables and visuals from raw data from multiple sources and formats. *Ability to use data and visuals to clearly 'tell a story' and give data-driven suggestions. *Works well with others as this is a highly collaborative role. *Financial analyses including profitability and pricing. *Key competencies: strategic and critical thinking skills, analytical, organized, attention to detail, cross-functional collaboration, business and financial acumen, analytical steward, fast learner, team-player, independent, motivated, and constantly looking for improvement opportunities for self and work items. Formal Education, Qualifications or Training *Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field, required.
