University of Pennsylvania Pediatric Neuro-Oncology, Assistant Professor, Academic Clinician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education. Candidates must be board eligible/certified in pediatric hematology/oncology.

We are seeking an innovative clinician and investigator to join our Pediatric Neuro-Oncology team to start in July of 2023. The position will be focused on clinical care and may have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials. We seek someone with a strong record of clinical accomplishments and the skills necessary to contribute to an independent cutting-edge program.

Clinical responsibilities may include serving as a member of the Neuro-Oncology service and active involvement in fellowship training.

Teaching responsibilities include supervising fellows and residents as well as didactic teaching.

Successful candidates will have some prior neuro-oncology experience. In addition, prior clinical trials and/or research experience are preferred. You will be joining a large neuro-oncology group engaged not just in clinical care but in innovative research. We offer a unique and exciting multi-disciplinary environment in which to work.
