Job Description

We are seeking a Veterinary Nurse Assistant to assist the oncology staff with stocking, ordering, patient restraint and organization of the oncology treatment room.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Responsibilities

  • This position will work closely with the oncology team by assisting with patient restraint, running lab work, stocking and organizing the treatment room area. The Veterinary Nurse Assistant will also assist nurses with appointments and walking patients during their stay at the hospital.

    This position has a physical requirement - ability to lift >25 with assistance . Kneeling and crouching are routine in this position. Patient restraint experience required.

Qualifications

  • High School Grad/GE Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  • 1-2 years' experience in a veterinary hospital setting.

Monday through Thursday, flexible hours

Pay Range

$7.25 - $17.00 Hourly Rate
