Oracle Network/Telecom Systems Analyst - Philadelphia, PA in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description

As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will plan, design, develop, and implement telecom technologies or infrastructure related to voice and data communication systems. You will be responsible for designing and managing corporate voice and data communication infrastructure systems, including customer service support and related training. As a member of this team, you will design, create, test and implement call flows for project and administrative applications, and participate in call flow optimization parts as well as plan and oversee voice and data cabling installations including minor repairs and testing. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining back-end telecommunication services, including voice and data T-1’s, fax server channel banks, ISDN lines, MPLS circuit, computer telephony integration, etc. In addition, you will maintain call accounting, teleconferencing, contact center suite, net server, mobile device management, and interactive voice response systems. You will also install and configure client software on user devices for teleconferencing and voice mail systems as well as provide telecom design and guidelines for new construction or other projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 2-5 year of telecom or networking work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • An understanding of CUCM (routing, system configuration), Cube, UCCX and UnityBasic to high level understanding of Wireless , SIP , MGCP , Expressway , VMWare , switching, voice gateways, integration with 3rd party applications(SPOK)

Responsibilities

Maintain records of equipment failure following defined procedures. Assist and with guidance from others escalate client problems according to established procedures. Using network management tools under the direction of more experience staff, analyze network performance. Analyze network performance to ensure adequate bandwidth for business needs. Troubleshoot network problems on the campus network, remote locations and country wide area network though to resolution, either supporting others or by following standard procedures and practices. Respond to monitor alarms to identify the root cause of an outage and coordinate the corrective action in line with existing procedures and practices.

US: Hiring Range: from $25.77 to $54.13 per hour; from $53,600 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
