DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will be responsible for performing a wide-range of skilled and semi-skilled vocations involving the use of a variety of construction and maintenance equipment and tools.  Specific duties include constructing and installing metal bins, shelving, gondolas, turnstiles, customer control railings, and display units.  You will also repair and adjust doors and frames, install and repair flooring, install and maintain camera system equipment, install electrical circuits, and paint interior store walls.  It is essential to maintain occupational hazards and safety precautions during all aspects of maintenance, in addition to remaining in compliance with agency standards and safety regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Travel is required. Salary:The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is notnegotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Necessary Special Requirement: You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
