Machine Learning Engineer, Specialist (The Vanguard Group, Inc. / Philadelphia, PA) -- Write complex production level data pipeline and engineering code required for the model; utilize PySpark, AWS Cloud Tech Stack (Glue, SM etc.), along-with data frameworks; engage in Solution Architecture while building end-to-end Machine Learning Data Pipes; utilize expertise in cloud-based architectures, technologies, and/or platforms to deliver optimized ML models at scale; review and optimize code produced for Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) Models utilizing modern technology stack; drive engineering innovation in the labs through effective collaboration with AI research functions, technology, and independent innovation ideas. Requires Master's in Computer Science or closely related IT field and two months of experience in job offered or in IT position(s) including Machine Learning Engineering Intern. Background in education, training or experience must include PySpark, Python, Cloud Tech Stack -- ML pipelines, AWS services, ML packages -- XGBoost, TensorFlow; ML Modeling utilizing Cloud Framework; NLP tools and techniques to produce models translating into increased business value for the organization; Solution Architecture for complex Machine models to work together; Data Integrity and Data Quality to reduce margin of errors to less than 5% for big data sets; prior experience in Data Engineering, building ML Data Pipes utilizing AWS tech stack (Glue, SM, Athena). Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days.
