Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in managing projects related to and/or leveraging one or more of the following areas related to systems configurations within the Insurance industry, including:

  • Hands-on experience in end to end implementation/customization/upgrading of GW Portals and integrating it with Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center, Contact Center through Edge backend and Javascript/ReactJs/AngularJS frontend as per client requirements;

  • Experience in development of front-end digital capabilities (using Javascript JSON, NodeJS, AngularJS/ReactJS) that communicate with the Guidewire Core applications through the Edge Services API offering new functionalities to the digital user community;

  • Utilize GOSU Language for Guidewire implementation projects (Core Applications: PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter);

  • Utilize GW Portals such as ProducerEngage, CustomerEngage, VendorEngage, ServiceRepEngage;

  • Coordinate build, deployment and code merge activities;

  • Work with client business SMEs to understand the requirements and translate them into viable solutions;

  • Maintain and fix issues in various environments like Dev, QA, UAT and Prod. Involve in unit testing and documentation;

  • Utilize Guidewire Studio, Guidewire Cloud Console, Visual Code Studio/JetBrains, JSON, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Rest API, Git/Bitbucket;

  • Experience Web service hosting and consuming, using Guidewire studio toolkits;

  • XML Coding;

  • ANT, MAVEN and code repository such as Clear Case, SVN, TFS; and,

  • Cogent communication, facilitation, and presentation to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management.

  • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts;

  • Managing teams and/or workstreams on an engagements, staying educated on current trends and assisting in the development of knowledge capital;

  • Collaborating with business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients;

  • Presenting to senior executives, with the ability to develop lasting relationships; and,

  • Identifying and addressing client needs while displaying the ability to contribute to the development of a business vision and manage implementation efforts with complex project management capabilities.

The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
