Responsibilities

Position Description:

The Executive Assistant to the Kroc Administrators will provide a high degree of administrative support in a professional, highly confidential manner. The EA-KA will perform general office duties, maintain calendars, schedules and prepare agendas and make arrangements for special events. The EA-KA will communicate with DHQ, THQ, donors and community groups/leaders; maintain accurate files, reports and records; process invoices and reimbursements; perform other duties as assigned. Provides assistance to Kroc Administrators. General office duties as assigned (maintaining calendars, typing, sorting incoming correspondence, screening incoming calls, maintaining databases, taking and distributing meeting minutes, ordering supplies). Communicate clearly with donors, arranging meetings/visits as necessary. Performs duties related to the Kroc Business Council and Advisory Board

Qualifications

Requirements:

6 years of relevant executive secretarial and general office experience. Associates or higher degree is a plus. Ability to accurately type 45-50 words per minute. Proficiency in the following personal computer software applications is required: Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and Explorer; a working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint a plus. Ability to work independently Excellent secretarial skills to include organization, filing, proofreading, follow up systems and professional communications skills are necessary. Must be able to communicate clearly in English both written and verbally. Must possess professional telephone skills. Must possess the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must possess an understanding of SA terminology. As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every three years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must possess an appreciation for and support of The Mission of The Salvation Army.
