Reporting to the Sr. Director of Admissions & Enrollment in the Office of Academic Innovation, the Enrollment Operations Manager plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the admissions, marketing, and recruitment system within the Slate CRM. This position is ideal for a technology-focused professional with a computer science, information systems, or technical operations background who thrives in an innovative, data-driven environment.
The Enrollment Systems Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing system workflows, data integration, automation, and reporting to support admissions, enrollment, and recruitment efforts. This role requires technical expertise in CRM platforms, SQL, and project management tools, along with the ability to collaborate across departments to improve efficiency and user experience.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Technology Maintenance & Optimization (40%)
Oversee and configure the Slate CRM system to ensure seamless operations for each admissions cycle.
Automate workflows, triggers, and data pipelines to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the admissions process.
Maintain and update training materials for system users and oversee staff onboarding.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for admissions-related processes.
Technology Development & Process Improvement (25%)
Assess and improve data integrations, APIs, and system workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities to streamline automation for applicant document processing and test score reporting.
Collaborate with the enrollment marketing team to optimize CRM-driven engagement strategies:
Automate and refine email marketing workflows, ensuring timely and personalized communication for prospective students.
Analyze engagement data and improve segmentation to enhance recruitment outreach and applicant experience.
Ensure seamless integration between Slate CRM and marketing platforms, supporting data-driven communication strategies.
Data Reporting & Analytics (20%)
Develop custom reports and SQL queries to extract and analyze data from Slate and the Data Warehouse.
Maintain and update standard reporting structures and fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests.
Ensure data security compliance and provide guidance on best practices for managing sensitive student information.
Project & Systems Management (10%)
Working collaboratively with other Slate Captains- Manage and track system updates, enhancements, and requests using Asana or other project management tools.
Work collaboratively with IT, admissions, and recruitment teams to ensure system functionality aligns with institutional goals.
Other Duties as Assigned (5%)
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field – OR a bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of technical experience in system operations and data management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with system integration, CRM operations, and database management.
Strong skills in SQL, data extraction, and reporting.
Experience providing technical and operational support within a university setting.
Project management experience with tools such as Asana or Jira.
