Provide technical leadership within a team responsible for writing and editing automated test code that allows for repeatable, reliable testing solutions to test the wide functionality of products and software, in accordance with specifications and technical requirements; enhance automation framework using SpecFlow and Selenium; develop automation test scripts using Java, VB, and JavaScript; automate the interaction of services within Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB databases; perform API load testing and automation using Postman, Gatling, and JMeter; manage AWS cloud infrastructure; support CI/CD using Jenkins; perform automation testing using Cucumber, Gherkin, and TestNG; maintain automated tests for SNP RESTful APIs; manage and track defects using Jira and Rally; use Informatica for BI testing; validate logs and perform white box testing using Splunk; debug application code using Spring Boot framework; maintain the automation codebase in a version control system, including GIT or SVN; execute automated test scripts and evaluate results; analyze broken test cases and diagnose and repair to working order; identify viable test strategies in order to support testing product functionality; create automated testing documentation, including test plans and test summary reports; validate product quality by analyzing and testing the quality of the code base; write code that will be executed in an automated and repeatable fashion which will reduce manual testing efforts and increase code quality and consistency; develop and maintain code that validates front-end, middleware and database systems, using the latest tools and programming languages; review project progress, evaluate results, and recommend corrections in technical applications and analysis to executive teams; partner with software engineers to write efficient automation code using coding standards and best practices; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: *Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience writing automated test code; developing automation test scripts using Java and VB; automating the interaction of services within Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases; supporting CI/CD using Jenkins; performing automation testing using Cucumber, Gherkin, and TestNG; managing and tracking defects using Jira; using Informatica for BI testing; and validating logs using Splunk; of which one (1) year includes performing API load testing and automation using Postman and JMeter; maintaining automated tests for SNP RESTful APIs; and using Rally.
