DirectDefense Director of Strategic Alliances - East - Remote in United States

DirectDefense is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Strategic Alliances to lead our efforts in building and managing channel partnerships with IT service providers, Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP), resellers, and other key partners for our Eastern territories. This role involves developing high-level channel sales strategies, managing channel account executives, and driving growth through strategic partnerships. Our partner program is designed to ensure seamless onboarding, increase revenue, maximize profitability, and ensure customer success. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Partnership Development: • Identify, establish, and nurture strategic alliances with IT service providers, MSSPs, resellers, and other relevant partners. • Develop and implement high-level channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. • Leverage DirectDefense’s managed security solutions to create compelling value propositions for partners. Program Development and Execution: • Design and execute the DirectDefense partner program to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support of partners. • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor services and solutions to meet the unique needs of each partner and their clients. • Monitor and analyze partnership performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize profitability and customer success. Revenue and Profitability: • Drive revenue growth through effective channel strategies and partnerships. • Develop initiatives to maximize profitability for both DirectDefense and its partners. • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Customer Success: • Ensure partners can deliver comprehensive security plans that identify and combat vulnerabilities and gaps. • Work with partners to provide ongoing information and education, helping their clients sustain their security protections. • Foster a customer-centric approach, ensuring that the end client's security and compliance needs are met. Channel Account Management: • Oversee and manage the performance of channel account executives. • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to channel account executives to ensure they achieve sales targets and professional growth. • Develop training programs and resources to equip channel account executives with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in channel sales, strategic partnerships, or related roles within the IT or cybersecurity industry. • Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships with IT service providers, MSSPs, resellers, and other channel partners. • Strong understanding of managed security services and the cybersecurity landscape. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and manage a team of channel account executives. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. • Ability to travel up to 50% to meet with partners and attend industry events. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $140,000 - $170,000 per year with a bonus plan.
