Job Summary The College Instructors (CI) are the leaders of the teams that make up the structure of the camp. They lead a team of 5 high school teaching assistants and 10 middle school students. The CIs are responsible for the well-being of their assigned students, TAs, and PAs. CIs prepare lesson plans, games, activities, and perform many other tasks relevant to their students' needs. They also serve as mentors, friends, teachers, and guides to everyone on their team. The College Assistant (CA) is part of an army of " behind the scenes" responsible for helping to ensure that each and every student has a safe, rewarding, enjoyable and academically successful six-week experience.  Specifically, the role of the CA is to help the Site Coordinator in organizing the site, supporting the Director and Dean in carrying out the day-to-day operations of the camp, and communicating daily events and issues with the Program Coordinator.  The CA's wear many hats in the program and can easily find themselves working as tutors, hallway supervisors, classroom assistants, room supervisors, lunch assistants, runners, setting up and cleaning up for events like Family Meal Day, Family Picnic, Friday Activity Days, and many other tasks.
