JEVS Care at Home is a non-profit organization that provides non-medical homecare services to those in need throughout several areas of Pennsylvania. It is our mission to deliver industry leading in-home care through recruiting, empowering and investing in the growth of our Caregivers.

Our Allentown team is in need of part-time Caregivers to work day shifts in Gettysburg, Allentown, Bethlehem, Macungie and Easton. Ideal candidates will have a passion for helping others, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the well-being and comfort of our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in their homes with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), light housekeeping, food shopping, meal preparation, medication reminders and laundry
• Follow client care plan to assist client(s) with all required daily needs
• Offer companionship and supervision
• Report to Client Care Manager regarding direction of care, client updates, concerns, and scheduling

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have professional or personal experience with providing personal care, companionship and activities of daily living with adults. 
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to effectively communicate with assigned Client Care Manager
• Must complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program successfully
• Must pass background check/clearances as required by state regulations
