DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will serve as a liaison between employers, providers, and district office staff to support established programs and customer placement opportunities. You will promote our programs and other employer work incentive programs and services by maintaining established relationships between our department and a variety of stakeholders via phone, email, and virtual and in person meetings. You will also have the opportunity to join local employment organizations and collaborate across bureaus in shared territories to create new connections in support of our customers. Programs and services include job training, apprenticeships, paid work experiences, supported employment, and more!

Get involved in our mission by developing professional relationships with businesses and stakeholders, visiting on-site locations, and participating in trainings and conferences. Fuel your work with research and analysis of labor market information to identify and resolve problem situations and make recommendations for potential outreach plans. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, after completion of probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Philadelphia. Salary:Most employees will start at the beginning level of the advertised salary. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree that includes 24 credits in the behavioral sciences; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 24 credits in the behavioral sciences. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Legal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
