Acadia Healthcare Behavioral Health Associate - Philadelphia Children's Crisis Center - 11pm-7am in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Behavioral Health Associate performs and assists with various tasks in the PCCRC, including basic patient care, and direct and indirect diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This position requires providing services to the following age population; children and adolescents ages 3 y/o to 17 y/o, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individual served.

The Philadelphia Children's Crisis Response Center (PCCRC) is currently seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Associate.

The Behavioral Health Associate will be responsible for:

  • Completing portions of the patient assessment.

  • Provides patient care.

  • Assesses units for safety.

  • Maintains complete and accurate documentation.

  • Leads and co-leads therapeutic activities.

The position requires:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 2 years of experience in Human Services and/or Behavioral Health required.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a human services or related field and 1 year of experience in Human Services and/or Behavioral Health preferred.

  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
