University of Pennsylvania Associate Professor-Clinician Educator Track-Surgical Pathology with expertise in Genitourinary Pathology-Dept of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of surgical pathology with interest in genitourinary pathology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. All applicants must be certified by the American Board of Pathology, AP-only or AP/CP or equivalent.

Teaching responsibilities may include medical students, residents, and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include participation in the Surgical Pathology service with coverage of Genitourinary Pathology services in Penn Medicine including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital and its affiliates, general frozen section service, autopsy service and night/weekend call. Coverage of additional pathology subspecialties, in addition to genitourinary pathology, will also be considered. The main practice site will be Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include development of an independent or highly collaborative research program (as PI, Co-PI or Co-I) in the area of anatomic pathology, particularly genitourinary pathology.
