University of Pennsylvania Assistant/ Associate or Full Professor of Endodontics (AC Track) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Department of Endodontics, invites applications for a full-time position, Academic Clinician Track, at the Assistant/ Associate or Full Professor level. The position calls for a person who can build and maintain the department's reputation nationally and internationally through excellence in teaching, research, and service in Endodontics. Responsibilities will include didactic and clinical instruction for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students, supervising patient care provided by the pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students, and directorship of the Endodontics clinic. Applicants must be board eligible or certified by the American Board of Endodontics and must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania dental license. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous teaching experiences. Clinical practice within the University may be available.

Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications for this position include (1) DMD/DDS degree or equivalent; (2) certificate of advanced training in Endodontics from a CODA-approved program; (3) board eligibility or Board Certification from the American Board of Endodontics; (4) experience in the management of Endodontic patient care and teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold an active PA dental licensure.
