Job Description:

Neshoba County General Hospital - Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) to join our emergency medical services team. The EMT-B will provide essential medical care and support in emergency and non-emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic life support and medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings
• Assess patients' conditions, administer treatments, and perform necessary medical procedures under the guidance of paramedics or other medical professionals
• Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and medical equipment
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient care and treatment accurately and thoroughly
• Maintain knowledge of current medical practices and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid and current EMT-B Registration
• CPR Certification
• EMS Driver License with good driving record
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficient basic computer skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently
• Good physical and mental health
• Previous experience in a patient care setting is preferred

• Shift: 24-hour shifts beginning at 7:00 a.m.
