Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $9 - $9 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Sorter / Grader:
Assess and categorize products based on attributes like color, species, dimensions, appearance, texture, smell, quality, and weight.
Distinguish between various product characteristics and identify defects.
Package products in accordance with specified requirements.
Report defective products or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Discard subpar or faulty products, while packaging acceptable ones for further processing.
Ensure tasks are completed promptly and accurately to maintain workflow consistency.
Engage in manual tasks such as lifting, dumping, stacking, packaging, bagging, sorting, and grading products.
Responsibilities involve repetitive heavy lifting.
Ensure that orders meet weight specifications and apply appropriate labels and tags.
Perform general cleanup tasks, including sweeping.
Utilize scales for product weighing.
Frequent lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Perform physically demanding activities involving standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing
throughout the shift
