Aston Carter Staff Accountant in Pewaukee, Wisconsin

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a diligent Staff Accountant to join our small accounting team located in the Midwest.

  • The ideal candidate will handle various accounting tasks including Accounts Payable and Receivable (AP/AR), balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset depreciation, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.

  • You will work closely with our hands-on owner who has the final say on all decisions.

  • The role involves reimplementing the entire ERP system using Microsoft Business Dynamics Business Central and requires strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

Required Qualifications:

  • AP/AR experience

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations

  • Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

  • Experience with Microsoft Business Dynamics Business Central is a plus

Job Type:

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). This position is initially a 6-month contract, with the potential to become permanent.

Work Environment:

Onsite work environment - flexible on start times, typically work 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility until 7 PM.
